Hobbies/Interests - Reading, blogging, hiking, and politics

What is your vision for the Special Health Care District?  We have a great team and I look forward to working together to making the MIHS system even more effective for the people of Maricopa County.   

What do you feel are some issues facing the District and how would you resolve them?  The most important issues facing the District are accreditation and the age of the main facility.  The current administration and prior Board have made major strides on the accreditation issue and I believe the current Board will be able to work with the administration to find a solution to address the obsolescence of the facility. 

 

What would you like the public to know about your background and experiences that would serve you well on the Board?  My background as a CPA and former legislator help me to serve the constituents of District 2 well as we work to solve complex budget and health care issues.
