About the Board
The Maricopa County Special Health Care District Board of Directors is the governing body for Maricopa Integrated Health System. Each member represents one of the five districts in Maricopa County.
Members of the District Board are public officials, elected by the voters of Maricopa County. The five members of the Board serve a four-year term.

The District's Board of Directors office has received multiple inquiries from the public regarding candidates for the District's Board of Directors to be voted on at the upcoming general election. By law, the District must maintain strict neutrality regarding the election, and therefore cannot provide information on any candidate for election to the District's Board of Directors. The names of candidates to appear on the ballot for election to the District Board of Directors from your district are listed at the web site of the County Elections Department. To access it, go to http://recorder.maricopa.gov/web/candcamp.aspx. That site also will allow you to access public records filed by each candidate's campaign regarding the election, including the candidate's statement of organization and all campaign finance filings made by a candidate's campaign.
