Image-0 - Book Donations GIve the Gift of Reading to MIHS Children

Children were treated to the gift of reading and a visit from Santa at the MIHS Family Learning Centers (FLCs). Santa visited each location and brought a book for each child to enjoy. Children were able to make crafts to take home, write letters to Santa, and have a picture taking moment. Over 500 books were provided to families from generous supporters. Nearly 150 employees of Bridge Property Management celebrated their 2016 accomplishments while helping children in need by collecting and donating over 350 books to help raise literacy for youngsters living in Maricopa County. Bridge Property Management, a Utah-based company, owns or manages nine multi-family dwellings and a gold course in Maricopa County. Additional books were donated by Read On Chandler, an Eagle Scout project, ongoing donations from MIHS staff, and additional books were purchased using First Things First funds.
