Report Highlights: Culture of Coverage

April 7, 2017

This year, MIHS employees and partners worked tirelessly to ensure that residents of Maricopa County stayed covered by health insurance. A full report was recently released and report highlights are now available.

The 2017 report details what the marketplace trends were for Open Enrollment Year 4 under the Affordable Care Act, and how MIHS helped to contribute to a Culture of Coverage. Through reaching out to specific target populations who need coverage the most, MIHS has already shown a 10% reduction in the uninsured rate for care obtained in January 2017 alone. Partnerships were key to success with the organizations providing needed Certified Application Counselors.
