Internal Medicine - Approximately seventy-five percent of the graduates of this program enter general internal medicine. Approximately forty percent of training takes place in the ambulatory setting. The program offers a diverse exposure to medicine in family health care centers where residents experience continuity of care. Other features of the program are the rotations at Mayo Clinic Scottsdale, which enable residents to learn about medical care in a large private clinic. Opportunities are also available for residents to take electives at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester.
