Welcome to New Resident Orientation

The Department of Academic Affairs staff welcomes you to the Copa! (Actually, Maricopa Integrated Health System (MIHS)). We are pleased that you have chosen The Copa to continue your medical training. The staff in Academic Affairs is available to provide support and assistance to all residents during their residency training. Our department offers a wide range of services. We look forward to meeting you at the New Resident Orientation at the Copa (NROC 2008) on Wednesday & Thursday, June 18-19, 2008 starting at 8 a.m.

If you are taking a much needed vacation before you begin your residency program, please contact the Department of Academic Affairs at (602) 344-5366 to let us know how long you will be gone and when you will return. We also ask that you make sure that Academic Affairs has your current mailing address. We will try to limit the number of documents sent via U.S. mail, but to avoid delay, it is important that we know your correct address. Click below for the change of address form.

To assist you in meeting your pre-residency goals and deadlines, we have included an orientation calendar of events. Please refer to this calendar often to ensure you do not miss any required document deadlines.
